Casa Roja is a stunning, colonial style beach house with a uniquely contemporary feel and function.  This hilltop home overlooks the ocean, mountains and jungle and is only a short walk to the private white sand beach of Chacalilla – one of Nayarit’s best kept secrets.  Tastefully designed and decorated by renowned international decorator Kerri Avery, Casa Roja is more than just a home, it’s a functional work of art.

Upon arriving at Casa Roja, you will find a circular driveway with parking for four cars, surrounded by lovely tropical gardens.  There is also covered parking for 2 vehicles.  The double wide entry doors open into a spacious living area, which flows seamlessly out onto the pool deck, with ocean and jungle views from almost every room in the house.  There is a covered outdoor dining area, as well as a palapa covered sitting area which are open to the sea breezes all day long.

Casa Roja has a large “Cook’s Kitchen” with copper counter tops, copper hood fan, large stainless steel fridge/freezer, microwave, BBQ .  The spacious living and dining room open onto a covered patio and large pool deck.  All five of the bedrooms are air conditioned.

Casa Roja is tastefully furnished and decorated, with elements sourced from many countries, creating a luxurious yet comfortable “south of the border” feel.
